The outside environment boasts a classroom size sand box, a hill for winter sledding, running track, separate play space for younger students and a wooded lot. Much of the natural ecological habitat has been preserved, and along with additional plantings utilizing native Nova Scotia plants provides learning opportunities in life cycles, observation, plants, insects and small creatures.

A common area with kitchen allows for baking activities and other learning experiences outside of the classroom. Additional computers and a library are located in this area.

Creative Kids Education Centre operates from a facility designed and built around its programs. Six classrooms with large windows offer natural lighting and an inviting space in which to learn. Each classroom is equipped with computers, manipulatives and books.  The pre-primary and primary classrooms are equipped with bathrooms. A gymnasium houses physical education, creative movement, drama, junior golf, and intramural sports activities.
